You may not be very familiar with EasyCGI, but he claims to be “consistently among the top ten hosting providers in the world.”
A world-class web hosting provider boasts advanced technology and highly qualified staff. But those are just words. How about action? Are they just as good?
I dug deeper into my EasyCGI review to find answers.
EasyCGI Review: first impression
When I first looked at the Easy CGI website, I was amazed by its incredibly simple appearance.
The EasyCGI home page would have been to my liking if I had been sitting in a time machine heading into 2006 instead of an office chair this morning.
You can even see Windows 2008 Hosting, the most advanced Windows Server operating system that has been advertised on this page so far. What was the last thing that was updated?
Village simplicity is not necessarily a bad thing, though, as I also think that it is very easy to find.
So are the promises about working hours. With a total of two data centers, both in Boston, USA, EasyCGI is proud to offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee on all packages. After testing the plan myself for 30 days, I found that downtime did indeed exceed 99.9%.
But what do other customers say?
I found various comments, but the feedback from EasyCGI regarding support seemed consistent.
Very often, however, instead of contacting a technician, I would get a link to some articles. I suppose it could be a little better.
EasyCGI Pricing Review
When it comes to prices, can Easy CGI make amends?
At first glance, it seems like I was lucky. A $7.96 plan with 350GB of disk space and a 30-day money-back guarantee isn’t so bad.
However, further research shows it’s only $7.96 for the first month.
It then returns to the full price of $12.95 a month. At this price, there are much better options with unlimited disk space and bandwidth.
The same goes for the other two plans, as the prices are simply not competitive enough.

While you get more bandwidth and disk space, many other providers offer unlimited bandwidth and disk space at lower prices. Keep in mind that you will get fast SSD servers.
While adding a site collector is a nice touch, it is a super underground site collector that nobody has ever heard of. It literally has zero reviews.
In general, I cannot justify paying these prices for what you can get for cheaper elsewhere.
Performance
In the realm of speed, there are few good things and a few bad things.
That is the average response time from Easy CGI, while Asian response time, in particular, can be improved.
EasyCGI Review Summary
I must say that when I came to this review when I first started my EasyCGI research, I had quite high hopes. Remember that this is a company that claims to be consistently among the top ten hosting services in the world.
But it is noteworthy that this EasyCGI review says otherwise. The fact is not that there is something particularly terrible about this service, but that it is just too expensive for what it offers.
For those who seriously want to manage a site or a business, I would advise going somewhere else. It just makes no sense to take risks with companies like EasyCGI when there are cheaper and more proven options.
