Speed and running time
To get the most accurate results from Hosting24, we will run three tests:

Hosting a small site
The daily HTML site is a champion in efficiency. It’s hard to clog up servers when you only take 20 lines of code!

And the results were brilliant.
The response time in the U.S. has not even reached 100 ms. In Europe, South America, and Asia, response time was also very good. They were lower, or slightly higher than the eye blink time (200 ms). That means that with these results, you would not even notice a delay in the page load time.
The most impressive detail of these response times is that even often forgotten places like Singapore, Sao Paulo, or Bangla work very well.
Hosting Speed24 Site Builder
It’s time to see how Hosting24 handles a more intense site. This time I will test Hosting24’s response time using its website builder.
A few images and modern sliders all add to a reasonably heavy website. So how will the servers cope with this?
The results are, of course, worse. Especially in places remote from the server. But it still got a C+ rating, which is still acceptable.
In the U.S., again quickly. Sao Paulo, London, Sydney, and Japan, too. However, Singapore and Banglore are delaying the results.
On the whole, not surprising, but not bad. We can say that hosting24 has fairly well-optimized servers.
The total speed and running time of the servers
To check how Hosting24 works in the long term, we have created a monitoring tool. That allowed us to monitor the WordPress website once a minute so that we can see the performance and uptime of the hosting service throughout the time.
From what we saw in the first place, the response time was not impressive, often reaching over 1 second. But then we contacted the host and asked what was wrong – in the end, this promised fast server performance.
The screenshot shows the host’s response24 in action. Less than an hour and the response time dropped below 500ms with periodic peaks. That’s impressive.
The best speed we have seen before was around 750ms compared to today, when the average response time is 320ms, and the fastest response speed is 230ms. Those are much, much better figures.
And we can only praise Hosting24 for improving them.
Although you may have to go to support to get what you’re paying for.
Fail-over time, on the other hand, without flaws. Hosting24 promises 99.9% uptime and keeps the promise. It didn’t fall for a minute during our testing.
Customer Service
Hosting24 has three types of customer support – knowledgebase, 24/7 live chat, and ticket support. Unfortunately, phone support is not available.
Therefore in this part of the Hosting24 overview, we will take a closer look at how the support team handles their requests.
We have already seen that the support for Hosting24 is active – the slow response time of the server was improved after we contacted them. So now we need to take a closer look at the support.
To learn more, we have installed several e-Tickets with both technical and sales questions, as well as tried a live chat.
What we are interested in is the time it takes agents to answer, how knowledgeable and willing to help.
Ticket Service Evaluation

Having tried my luck several times, I can confidently say that Hosting24’s ticketing service is quite prompt. Usually, it took 1 to 2 hours to get an answer.

Well, that’s decent. Pretty quick and informative answers are what I like. Of course, some hosts answer more deeply – but when they take a full day to answer, I will take Hosting24 and its dry precision on any day of the week.
Chat service
No matter how popular the ticket service is, live chat rooms are likely to remain much more important. They are faster and more personal than ticket requests – and there are a few other things you can tell from them.
That’s why we opened a few chat rooms to see how it went.
The response time was impressive. On average, it took the agent a few minutes to respond.
Sometimes a person would immediately join the chat, and sometimes a couple of minutes passed.
One bad thing, however, is that the system doesn’t tell you how long you have to wait. But on the whole, it’s very good.
What I found a little more impressive was the knowledge and familiarity with the chat service representatives.
They knew most of the questions by heart, answered me with ease.
Also, even though there were a few sentences that were definitely copied from somewhere else, most of the time, I felt as if I was talking to a real person.
Account security
For the final test, I’m going to see how easy it is for someone to hack into your Hosting24 account. First, I repeated brute-force hacking.
That meant that I was practically trying to guess my password – wrong, of course.
In the end, I should have guessed as if someone had actually managed to guess my combination correctly. If there were any security measures in place, after a few unsuccessful guesses, I would be locked out of my account.
It took me ten wrong attempts to launch perhaps the most passive security mechanism in the hosting world.
Instead of being told that I was locked out or that the password was incorrect, I was redirected to a blank page: no explanations, no messages, nothing.
At first, I had a theory that my internet connection was broken or that some other mistake had occurred on my part. It turns out I didn’t!
After changing my I.P. address and logging on to another browser, the same thing happened.
So rest assured – after ten attempts, the bot will be sent on a short vacation to an empty page. And somebody trying to guess your password will still think that there is something wrong with its internet connection.
Simple? Yeah. Absolutely genius? Yes, it is.
It’s time to see how the support team handles confidential user information. Simply put, I go into Hosting24’s chat room and demand that they “give me back my account” – even though I couldn’t prove that it really belongs to me.
The results were simple. You must either access your email or give them information about your payment.
Unlike some other hosting providers, Hosting24 does not ask you to send a picture of your credit card – you need a transaction I.D.
I like this method much better because someone can easily take a picture of your credit card.
Signing in with a digital signature and a separate password is a completely different business. Simply put, it is probably the safest and least intrusive method available.
