List of 146 CRM systems. Reviews, Industry Lists & No BS Ranking

The whole project with reviews (700ish pages as a pilot project) started because I don’t like non-binary grading systems, i.e. if the product has 3 stars should I try it or not? Are 4 stars enough?

So for CRM systems and other software, we have a more straightforward system:

* Design Grade – just an overall feel of the front-end website AND the actual software itself, because CRM features are a commodity and I don’t want to work in the “ugly 90s ERP” kind of service.

** Common Sense Grade – when I open any given website I want to get the feeling of features & some unique selling points. If I read endless “improve efficiency, skyrocket team collaboration, increase sales” – that’s BS (bullshit, that’s right).

So, how to choose a CRM system?

I’d always start from looking for an industry-specific solution, e.g. CRM for real estate that is done by realtors for realtors. We have lists for that.

Then, if your business is too niche or does some fairly straightforward thing – look for solution tagged with 🖐multipurpose.

I don’t recommend even checking out systems tagged with ⁉️ BS & 🤢meh

Then read the reviews to get the first-hand experience from users (duh).

How we sourced the reviews?

We aggregated them from Reddit to ensure they are fair and doesn’t come from a single source. For the same reason, we don’t have a “submit a review” button on our platform.

In the future, we might include reviews from other platforms like Trustpilot and Capterra.

146 CRM systems?!

Yeah, in August 2019 I curated a list of close to 400 items and these 146 CRM systems remained, even though some of them do not make sense for me.
