I am always wondering how digital agencies can sell things they are not doing for themselves. Design companies with ugly websites, SEO agencies with no organic traffic, development companies with no pet products.
So at some point I started doing outreach for guest posts and felt a crippling depression working in spreadsheets. Looking at existing solutions I once again faced “we can do better” syndrome (hello Avokado – language learning app with just better than Anki design and Let us build a custom CRM for your business).
So we did a first iteration of email outreach system and Head of Content rejoiced.
Then I thought – reaching to certain groups of people is awesome way of lead generation, so we did few successful pilot campaigns. GRIN games department was born along the way (via Launcher we contacted writers from Goodreads with at least one book published and asked if they want to create a text-based games with us. These steps alone generate leads and allow top pick low hanging fruits. But 5% conversion rate is too far away from 100%, huh?
