Goldmine CRM Aggregated Reviews

When I was in retail we had a crm program called goldmine. When you entered someone’s name, phone, or email or what not, or they called in in a phone that was recognised, it would bring up all the notes on the customer. The thing you didn’t want to see at the top of the page was PTW or a variation of that. Ptw stood for Professional Time Waster.
Depending on how big a Ptw they were, the variations would be things like MFPTW!, POSPTW, UFPTW, etc. You can guess what they mean. The longer the abbreviation, the more annoyed they had made the customer.
Was very very useful

Have a look at Nimble CRM . The founder set up Goldmine decades ago so has an understanding of lead tracking and how to nurture relationships in modern times. It’s very focused on social media marketing and its very easy to use.

What about goldmine do you like, and what have you used previously? I’ve been shopping for a CRM tool I had considered sales force, but as of right now it’s not worth the cost.

What’s Google Business? Google doesn’t have a CRM package. Also, with old Goldmine, you’ll only be able to export contacts to CSV. I don’t believe you’ll be able to migrate emails as well, but I could be wrong. Talk to companies that specialize in CRM migration

Have you thought to invest in upgrading goldmine to 2017.2? We currently have on premise and it runs rather smooth.
Also depends on your infrastructure. If you’re working out of several office locations cloud is an easy solution other wise you will have to invest local servers (regular workstation) at each business location syncing back to your main server, or you will run into slowness issues.

I know right Goldmine sucks. I think Salesforce is the best but financially I don’t think it will be the best for what the company needs right now, which is something other than Goldmine thats cost effective. I mean am I thinking about this wrong?

That being said, anything is going to be better than Goldmine, just make sure you take advantage of the trials and check out the support communities around each if you are going to be doing the development.

Yea I am only there for the Technical portion and I have the Sales guys feeding me what options they want. But at this point honestly anything is better than Goldmine. I just don’t think the company can support the cost for Salesforce and thats just my opinion based off of going from paying nothing to paying almost what 5k amonth for a CRM.

GRIN games emerged
As a web agency we never could and never will be able to escape the urge of building things.
Among million other things we played with an idea of text-based games and the last piece that was missing
was the story itself. So via in-house outreach platform we found two
established writers that believed in the project and agreed to participate.
Shout out to Richard Abbott who wrote Fraud on Thetis and Eva Pohler who sent us a huge draft we are still reading through.
v0.1.4
GRIN launcher is born.
It is an outreach platform that we use to establish connections with editorial teams.
They say samples of published articles look good
but pricing looks even better
At some point we realised that list building, fetching contact details & outreach tech work just as well for b2b lead generation
v0.1.3
Once, we fell in love with ecommerce, because of short feedback cycles on marketing & development efforts.
Today we ship into production
inhouse SaaS project - AVOKADO - the web
app for learning languages with flash cards.
The year after we built it we realised how long is the road map ahead & what resources we'd need to promote it and decided to put it on hold.
One day as we ship GRIN tech v3.0 into production we'll distrupt the language learning market with Avokado.
We love Wordpress and recently shipped two plugins into open beta for commercial sale.
v0.1.2.2 King The Monk - wordpress plugin to virally grow your email list
v0.1.2.1 Plain Conversions - wordpress plugin to convert your visitors
v0.1.1. Expanded core offering to visual productions
v0.1
It's Autumn 2017 and GRIN tech agency's website is born.
We have it saved for the history.
