I use Moz Local and Moz Pro. It looks like you there is a minimum of 100 locations required to get the premium package. Moz Local does a great job building local citations but I have found no value in the reputation management tool. I just started using relatively inexpensive reputation management tool a couple months ago – LocalClarity. It isn’t as robust as some of the other tools I’ve used but it does more than what I need. The support is excellent. It is a new/growing company so they are continuously adding new features. I’ve been impressed so far. Check it out.

Depends what do you need it for. For in-house SEO, moz can give you pretty good value. If you are agency, or need some deeper level insights, there are better tools to get. (But they’re going to cost you)

Moz doesn’t have ad or PPC data. Moz even divested their Followerwonk social media tool and Moz Content to focused on SEO solely.
Moz Information is refreshed only weekly in most cases and is not real time
User experience is often disjointed between the campaign area and other areas like KWE and OSE. Terminology can be confusing too.
Keyword Explorer includes 3 novel keyword metrics: potential, importance, and opportunity (which factors in how SERP features decrease organic CTR)
Keyword Explorer uses Clickstream data in a innovative way to avoid being at the mercy of Google’s continued restriction of keyword data.
SERP Features (including ads and rich snippets) are a focus of Moz Pro. The information and visualizations provided are indispensable to address their threats and opportunities.
Moz integrates information from your Google Analytics but unfortunately not Google Search Console
Some amazing tools are tucked away in Open Site Explorer like broken link checker, link intersect, and brand mentions
MozBar provides more than just page and authority rank. There is a wealth of on page and technical SEO data available for any site in addition to proprietary metrics like MozRank and MozTrust.
So Moz is overall very strong. Others than SEMrush and Ahrefs should be considered as well (I am in the process of doing a comparison article on those now). But they are all around 100/month to start out.

Moz is a pretty good tool and yes it’ll cost you a bit, but I find it okay and the keyword explorer is great. Also, I +1 on Ahrefs, this is a highly recommended tool for link building.

I use Moz and like it a lot. Their Keyword Explorer tool is very good, and for the most part I really like the way their rank tracking works, particularly the updated-weekly charts of my visibility in search results for keywords I’m tracking vs my competitors.
I do hear their link index is not as good others, and I have considered ahrefs. But frankly I like Moz more as company and appreciate their values. If / when they drop Followerwonk as a tool though, I’ll probably take a fresh look at competitors.

MOZ kicks ass. Been using it about 6 months now. It has been indispensable to my main clients SEO success and got me out of the road blocks I was hitting prior. Assuming you have respectable SEO knowledge and skills it would be very beneficial to you. I highly recommend it.

Forget about MOZ.
The software is outdated.
Here is a full list of what it DOESNT DO!
Return full number of referring domains & links.
Spam score is flawed based on the fact it doesnt show all the referring domains to a site.
Anchor text ratio is inaccurate based on the above.
No SERP CTR option which is a new addition to Ahrefs
Switch to Ahrefs, you wont regret it.

I work agency side on small to large campaigns and I find Moz to be limited and Majestic appear to just make up link data on the fly (far too many instances of phantom links in the report). Ahrefs for link and keyword data, SEMrush for competitors (although ahrefs does a good job at this too).
I’d use ahrefs and SEMrush , but if I had to choose one it would be ahrefs any day of the week.

I’m in-house and have actually been looking to make a change from Moz. They’ve been very inconsistent, and their API frequently has errors. Their index has huge fluctuations from month to month, and it’s hard to report to your superiors that you lost hundreds or thousands of backlinks one month, and regained them the next.
I’d listen to the others in the thread and use ahrefs or majestic.

Moz is really good at being stereotypical leftist cry babies and is ran by a bleeding heart liberal CEO.
Their products are ‘okay’ at best. Plenty of other better websites and tools to use!

I assure you we are. Keyword Explorer is just the first example of things to come. I know roll outs are eminent on Moz Pro (already released to beta), Moz Local continues to shine and every part of our product line is being strengthened. Pretty excited about 2017.

Moz is outstanding at building a base foundation for digital marketing, their content guides and so on are really well written and can help tremendously. However, once you stop being a beginner and you’re looking at much more advanced technical SEO this is where Moz falls short sadly.
They will preach ‘content is king’ and all that but as a lot of us will know this will only get you so far and employing grey hat will be more of a help than a 3,000 article with brilliant imagery.
Most of us will know especially those working with SMEs, that links don’t just come out of thin air with great content no matter how hard you try – you will need to get out there and get links manually. End of story.
There’s Moz and then there’s the ugly, real world of SEO. However, I’m not sure they are after this target market, I feel they’re happy with where they’re positioned attracting white hat SEOs with their tools, living off their brand name and Rand’s over the top over the topness. Will this last? I’m not sure, when I keep seeing posts like this and the silly PR stunts like the Trump email I worry about their future a bit.

Stopped using Moz Local when they changed their pricing structure. When it was $80/yr (or something similar), it was valuable and I was able to correct everything else manually. Now, I find it a nuisance and I work with another company that handles the same aggregators and a lot of citations at the same time for $100 one time per business. Best of all, it’s a steal and it works great.

v0.1.7 White label agency solution, including white label lead generation & link building

v0.1.5.3 GRIN jobs experiment started
v0.1.5.2 Working on cool in-house lead gen project - Art Director is preparing 100 picks of Business Cards in various niches.
v0.1.5.1
GRIN games emerged
As a web agency we never could and never will be able to escape the urge of building things.
Among million other things we played with an idea of text-based games and the last piece that was missing
was the story itself. So via in-house outreach platform we found two
established writers that believed in the project and agreed to participate.
Shout out to Richard Abbott who wrote Fraud on Thetis and Eva Pohler who sent us a huge draft we are still reading through.
v0.1.4
GRIN launcher is born.
It is an outreach platform that we use to establish connections with editorial teams.
They say samples of published articles look good
but pricing looks even better
At some point we realised that list building, fetching contact details & outreach tech work just as well for b2b lead generation
v0.1.3
Once, we fell in love with ecommerce, because of short feedback cycles on marketing & development efforts.
Today we ship into production
inhouse SaaS project - AVOKADO - the web
app for learning languages with flash cards.
The year after we built it we realised how long is the road map ahead & what resources we'd need to promote it and decided to put it on hold.
One day as we ship GRIN tech v3.0 into production we'll distrupt the language learning market with Avokado.
We love Wordpress and recently shipped two plugins into open beta for commercial sale.
v0.1.2.2 King The Monk - wordpress plugin to virally grow your email list
v0.1.2.1 Plain Conversions - wordpress plugin to convert your visitors
v0.1.1. Expanded core offering to visual productions
v0.1
It's Autumn 2017 and GRIN tech agency's website is born.
We have it saved for the history.
