I am in a dead end with ZAP hosting. I hosted a server. I am used to hosting just being suspended, when I don’t pay. However, these mother******s don’t do that. Instead, they charge you extra for being late. I will not pay extra. I can’t delete my account because of the fees. I need help.

The server does not crash locally. It didn’t crash for the +2 years I ran it before ZAP hosting, and has not crashed in the 2 days since I moved back to local hosting. The crash log would only help ZAP Hosting diagnose the problem on their end, something they weren’t interested in doing while I was a customer, and something I’m certainly not interested in doing, now that I have canceled my contract.

ZAP Hosting will break your server and try to blame you
I have been running a Feed The Beast: Infinity Evolved server locally for a couple years. It’s just for me and one other friend. Recently, I decided to host the server with ZAP Hosting, so my friend would have access to it 24/7.
Everything was going great, until I came home from work one day and the server was offline. It seemed strange, but I was able to turn the server on and login normally. However, I came home from work the following day, and the server was again offline. I turned the server on, and was able to login normally.
The next day, the server was again offline, but when I tried to start it it was crashing repeatedly.
I attempted to work with support, and explain the problem. They did not attempt to assist me, and instead just told me it must have been a mod I added or changed. The server had been unchanged for weeks, it was just me and a friend logging into play. I tried to go back and forth with them, explaining that nothing changed, but they refused to assist, essentially called me a liar and told me it must have been something I did.
Well, I canceled my service with them right then and there. I then went ahead and downloaded my world save, and fired up my locally hosted FTB: Infinity Evolved server. Guess what, server works just fine locally.
I made the right choice canceling service with ZAP hosting, and I am just glad they didn’t irreparably damage my world save.
TL;DR: PSA: ZAP Hosting takes no responsibility for server issues on their end, and calls customer a liar, while not attempting to assist a paying customer.

I will describe my experiences with ZAP-Hosting over 1 year here, and why I (try to) leave them.
If wanted, i could attach tons of screenshots, but most of them would be in german.
Initially i got one FiveM server at ZAP. I liked the nice interface, and the support was mostly helpful. Since i am in Germany, their business hours were no problem and i could almost always just contact support in the live chat. After a while i got a 2nd and 3rd FiveM server, and to that point, i would still have recommended ZAP. My (non german) admins weren’t because the ZAP support in english apparently sucked.
My view on ZAP changed when i got a rootserver from them (this month), to run 4 fivem servers off that.
The only reason i got the rootserver there was, that it said the traffic is unlimited as long as its not unusual like outgoing ddos attacks.
After buying it, and setting it up (this took a while since it bugged out and support had to debug it)i then noticed it had a fixed 1.5TB limit per month. That can be reset by contacting support, but the fivem servers would have filled the limit fast and i didn’t want to constantly have to worry about the traffic and contact support before it hits the limit and server goes down. That wasn’t what i expected from “unlimited”…
So i tried to refund. The support told me: Not possible. Altho, in my eyes, the product clearly wasn’t as described.
I then contacted the ZAP CEO and told him about my issue with the limit.
He talked down to me, in an unprofessional e-mail, about how the limit is mentioned on several spots on the site, and in their (poorly written) TOS. (I checked, it’s not.) And that no hoster in the EU has unmetered traffic and i should just rent their FiveM servers instead.
(I now rent a dedicated server at ovh, that has the unmetered traffic he told me doesnt exist in the EU.)
And just now, i find an invoice for 165,30€ in my ZAP interface for one of the FiveM servers, even tho i cancelled all services so they don’t renew.
TL;DR: Don’t buy ZAP products, you will be fucked over, sooner or later.

That leaves everything to your discretion. Therefore, you can create the server you need. The price starts at $3 per month and can reach up to $8000 per month.
After you choose the game you want, you will be asked to configure your server. You can change the amount of RAM you need, which game server slots your server has, as well as change the CPU and host server. You can get up to 16GB of RAM and up to 500 slots for game servers.
The server location also affects the price you pay. You have a choice of 7 different locations here. The cheapest is Frankfurt, which adds 0% to the monthly cost, whereas Sao Paulo in Brazil adds 100%.
With this kind of price difference, you should think about the location of your server before you buy hosting here.
There is another unique option that particularly attracted our attention – ZAP-Hosting also offers what it is called “ZAP ONE-Times.”

The list here is awe-inspiring, and you also have the opportunity to change games when you want. That makes the price more attractive.
Minecraft is one of the most popular games, so there is a particular category for it and its different versions. You can get the original Minecraft, Minecraft Adventure, Feed the Beast, and life in the forest, among others.
Both the games and services here are quite varied, so you can find almost anything you want.
Games and their configuration is the primary function that providers need; fortunately, ZAP-Hosting coped with this task.
ZAP-Hosting performance
After testing the ZAP-Hosting response time and stability of interaction with the Pin Kingdom, the results were excellent. Within one month of testing, our server did not experience any downtime. Our report showed a remarkable 100% uptime rate.
The average response time was only 257 ms, and at that time, it had dropped to 209 ms. Both stability and responsiveness in ZAP-Hosting are incredible.
We then tested how fast our server was around the world. To do this, we used Bitcatcha, which gave us an overall assessment of an A+ performance. Canada, Germany, and the USA showed a high speed of about 20 ms or less.
Sao Paulo was the only place where the response time was less than 100 ms, here, about 128 ms.
The ZAP-Hosting servers have excellent uptime and performance that can meet any need.
ZAP-Hosting support
ZAP-Hosting offers 24-hour assistance via email, tickets, and live chat options. It works from 10:30 am to 06:30 am (20 hours a day) in the central time zone and provides ticket support for live chat. From 06:30 to 10:30, you will only have a ticket support service.
The live chat option works very well. We got our first answer in about 4 minutes, and the agent was very helpful. He answered our questions without sending any links to various articles.
The same can be said about tickets and email support. We received an answer to our email within one hour. They even have a feature of the upcoming forum that will allow gamers to share and discuss games and ZAP-Hosting services.
